Scholarships are available to families residing in the state of Florida. Parents must provide proof of residency during the application process to qualify for Step Up For Students funding.
Income Eligibility
While some programs prioritize lower-income families, many Florida scholarships are now available to all students regardless of household income, providing broader educational options.
ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES
K-12 Students
Students must be eligible to enroll in a Florida public school in kindergarten through 12th grade. This includes children entering Kindergarten (at least 5 years old by September 1st).
Program Options
Families can apply for the Florida Empowerment Scholarship (FES-EO), Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC), or the Personalized Education Program (PEP) to use toward SFK training.


SCHOLARSHIPS AT SFK
The Step Up for Students scholarships are fully integrated with SFK Soccer Academy. These funds can be utilized to cover registration fees, monthly training dues, and even specialized elite pathway programs, ensuring every child in Florida has the opportunity to excel on the pitch.

Visit the Step Up For Students website to verify if your family qualifies for the Florida Tax Credit or Empowerment Scholarship.

Create An Account
Set up your profile on the Step Up For Students EMA (Education Market Assistant) portal to manage your funds.

Submit Documents
Provide all required documentation, including income verification and residency, and submit your application for review.

Once awarded, notify SFK Soccer Academy to link your scholarship for enrollment in our premier soccer programs.
